This. I think if we're still in and around the playoff places come November/December time we'll be fine. Plus I have no doubt that we'll still strengthen the squad over the next few weeks too.

A bit off topic but I just thought I'd mention that I got talking to a number of toon fans today and I've got to say you guys seem the friendliest and knowledgeable bunch I've met on my travels so far. Very welcoming and a credit to Newcastle.
