It's a tough situation isn't it. If corruption is as bad as they say then perhaps Fifa or uefa could step in and ban them until it's fixed. Bit like the pot calling the kettle black though.

I don't condone their actions but if this really is the only way that people will pay attention.... The situation should never have been allowed to get this out of hand.

Idiocy from the fans. Supposedly far right supporters protesting against their own FA. Once again a complete failure in security and safety from the French. They're supposed to be on high terror alert. For now it's thankfully just been idiotic fans but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a terrorist attack giving the severe incompetence of the French authorities.

Alex Holiga has written about the Croatian fans in the Guardian today, basically the Croatian FA are corrupt, useless etc..

I can vouch for him, I interviewed him for my dissertation <whistle> .

Yeah the flare thing threw them I think. Before that they looked more likely to get a 3rd than Czech Republic did to equalise.

Based on the group stage so far I'm struggling to think if there's been a stand out side. Spain are yet to concede and have been dominant but that could be to do with the fact they've played two of the worst sides in the competition. Italy look hard to beat but are hardly exciting going forward, France have huffed and puffed their way to two victories against mediocre opposition. Belgium and Portugal looked awful. England have been dominant but still conceded two sloppy goals and don't seem to have a cutting edge. Germany have hardly been inspiring.

Think this could be the year of an underdog. Might stick a quid on Poland or Northern Ireland.

I can't wait for Germany to do a Brazilian style demolition on Spain
I'd doubt that would happen, Germany's defence is complete s*** and they don't look as threatening going forward either.
i know everyone wets themselves when ever Spain play and they are successful, but I just don't find their style of bore their opponents to death by passing in circles interesting, it's the same reason I don't like arsenal etc. you can't exactly call it exciting dynamic attacking football can you. Pass pass pass pass pass, tap in.

According to many in the pub last night, England can beat anyone.

When I mentioned Russia they told me to fornicate myself.
