Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Perez is a short arse and cant win headers. Understandable, seeing as Stoke are the flinging the ball high.

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Need to get Merino on ASAP! Diame and Shelvey is a disaster waiting to happen in midfield. Counter attack city in there! They have both been reasonable so far. Diame has looked solid but not creative and Shelvey has looked like he has his head on. Both worlds better than Hayden Also great f***ing s...

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Give him a chance - he's just a kid and new at this level.. And he's just set up Perez.... He’s not new to football though ! This! Him being new to the PL or to this team is nobody's problem but his. He's 22, he's not a kid. First thing he's done all season and it's January now. Not like he hasn't ...

Cracking cross, but first thing he's done all season. Literally, first assist or goal from him.seatonsluicetoon wrote:Pow pow pow pow. thoroughly deserved for both Perez and the team. Murphy assist. Where are all
those naysayers?
He's still totally garbage.

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
So many of our players just putting their hands up in situations. Shelvey again when the ball bounced right in the midfield. f***ing disgusting, take some responsibility and stop being such cronuts.

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Haven't played bad, but not great. Stoke are there for the taking, and testament to the lack of quality all over the side that we haven't ever looked like opening them up. Every time we've tried to break the move breaks down by anyone of our players making a mistake. When Stoke are deep we really do...

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Only time Murphy gets a cross in, he puts it in when nobody is in the box.

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Murphy really is awful. Wouldn't even say he's young at 22. At that stage a player should have demonstrated he's done enough to be starting most weeks, and then becoming consistent, and as a forward player scoring and making assists. Murphy didn't even do that in the Championship, yet we paid £12M f...

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
Playing better than expected.
Very worrying to see players throwing their hands up when things don't go right for the team.

This would be a lot worse if the other two weren't Dummett and Haidara.Donkey Toon wrote:Three left backs in the match day squad and somehow Manquillo gets picked.

Re: Match thread - Stoke v NUFC
We're so static it's embarrassing. Nobody can be arsed moving when ever we do win the ball back.
That, and are players aren't very good.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)
I may not like his tactics at times, but my main concerns this window is Rafa walking. It's ruin the takeover bid for sure and he's the best manager (based on previous efforts) available to us right now. Rafa won't be heading anywhere whilst the takeover his happening. By all is to believed, he's t...
