That's a great photo!! Is it edited?
Thanks!

I shoot in RAW, so pretty much every photo I take I edit...

I only really enhanced the blue in the sky in that one though... The rest of it is as shot!

Can someone recommend me a cheapish DSLR (£200 is probably my absolute max I'm willing to pay). I really want to get into photography but I don't have a clue where to start

You can probably get an older entry level model like the Nikon D60 for around that.
Bear in mind the lenses cost a fair bit.

If you're willing to go second hand, then you might get a Canon EOS 100d or 750d, or a Nikon D3300. I got the Canon 1100d about eight years ago when I started getting into photography and it was a perfect entry level dslr, everything's piss easy to use and you can teach yourself how to use all the manual settings without having to read instructions. I think they're discontinued now, maybe they're even cheaper second hand.

If you're lucky you might be able to get a Kyrgyzstani camera for 5% less than the RRP <divax>

The sport itself is great, it's the adverts which are the big problem with it.

Yes, it's far too disjointed. It's like when you watch a TV show in the US, there must be an advert break literally every five minutes.

Quick one... for those who are into there photography - how much is a good quality camera these days? I would have a look myself but I haven't got a clue. Not bothered about top of the range stuff but good quality and affordable.
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

if you're talking about DSLRs, you can get a decent 2nd hand body for <£300, but the lenses are what will cost you.

Whatever the average aspiring photographers use, I guess...

You're looking at 300 and up. If you give "entry level DSLR" a google you'll find recommendations for the sort of camera you're after.

Perhaps if you give us some indication of what you would spend, we can have a hunt around for you. Do you want a DSLR, or a Bridge, or a mirrorless camera? All except the Bridge will require lenses and these will scare the s*** out of you in terms of prices.

Thanks guys <ok>

Wouldn't want to go much more up than £300.
