Why Doesn't Pardew play Anita?

OK you can argue that he shouldn't have started against QPR, but why when Tiote was forced off did Pardew bring on Perch rather than Anita?

As Pardew will probably be here next season and in his mind Anita seems to be lower down the pecking order than Perch does Anita have a future at the club? If I was Anita I'd ask for a transfer in the summer.

What BGD said. Anita is a very good player in my opinion and should be starting ahead of Tiote especially on this season's form.

Watching MOTD it looked as if Anita was about to come on before Elliot got himself sent off and therefore Pards had to bring Harper on?

Because he's an idiot. He stuck by him through a difficult period and then dropped him when he showed his class. I saw a quote which said "Anita's for games we expect to dominate possession" - if you dont expect to dominate possession against bottom five teams then f*** off and play your hoofball somewhere else.

He was but that's irrelevant, he should be starting games, not getting 10 minute cameos.

To be honest, Perch's aerial ability yesterday was pretty good, can't say the same for his poor touches further up the field though

Perch is a closer player to Tiote in style of play so I knew he'd come on, but that isnt the point.
