Anyone else or have these Euros been a bit s****? Some good goals but the overall quality of football has been poor imo.

I think its a very good tournament so far, most games have been competitive, everyone seems to want to win the game instead of turning up and doing f*** all, and chances have been plenty throughout despite not having high scoring games yet.

See I feel it's been the exact opposite <laugh> seems to me every team seems scared to lose so they're not going for it. Might just be I'm unlucky and catching all the games that have been poor quality.

I think they've been very average. Cautious play from a lot of teams not wanting to lose. No team has scored 3 in a game yet, I find that really strange.

There's been few goals but the games have been pretty exciting in general, it's not been like the 2010 World Cup for example which was s*** quality, no goals and generally just a bit uninspiring.

The 3rd place s**** has made everyone not want to lose, since they know they probably only need 3/4 points and they are ok.

I now compare every tournament to Euro 2004 which has to be the worst tournament ever (in any sport!) and if its better than that, then i'm happy <ok>

World Cup 2010 was pretty ghastly. Those f***ing vuvuzelas ruined the atmosphere and the football was gash.

Last World Cup was outstanding though. Maybe I'm unfairly comparing this tournament to that one.

Cracking goal!

Damn got Eder on the bench for FF.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

11/35 goals scored after the 87th minute. That's abnormally high.

1.84 goals per game, lowest in Euros history and 31% scored after the 87th minute. There's been 24 goals before the 87th minute in 19 games, that's awful <erk>

Think Italy might win this. Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini are the best goalkeeper and defence combination at the Euros. All play together for Juve. No each other inside out. Very experienced, intelligent, leaders and tough defenders. Rest of the Italian side is pretty average but they're going to concede very few if at all at this tournament becuase of the defence so they don't really need to score many.

I'd rather watch good quality games with a few goals than sit through 85 minutes of s**** to see a late winner. I'm struggling to think of a game off the top of my head where one team hasn't just sat back and tried to defend for 90 minutes. Belgium-Italy and Austria-Hungary perhaps.

Hope Srna has a good game. Great effort from him to even be there.
