Charlie Nicholas on Soccer Saturday has just said we could be a potential destination for Wayne Rooney.

Can you imagine Ashley ever agreeing to that? <laugh>

He might for the marketing potential.

He would be a decent signing. Experienced and still a very good proven Premier League player. We could do a lot worse.
