I dunno
Re: New Kit 17/18
It's gonna be sooo good.
All that can ruin it now is a tacky sponsor. Hopefully it'll just be some generic Chinese logo at worst, or maybe even a more attractive Far East sponsor like Samsung.

hopefully it's Huawei
Re: New Kit 17/18
Some bloke at work reckons Ashley has shares in a Chinese company that is essentially the Chinese Sports Direct and that's who the sponsor's going to be.
Wouldn't put it passed him would you!

Alibaba would be pretty decent from a corporate connections point of view.

Their very first comment says it's a prediction rather than a leak. :/

As for that pic, the collar looks different to the one on the promo vid which is all black, and the Puma logo looks white.

Re: New Kit 17/18
There's a few inconsistencies between that and the video but if the actual kit is anything like that it'll be our nicest kit in quite some time.
Out of curiosity, are clubs allowed coloured letterings and numbers now? For some reason I had it in my head they could only be black or white

They've always been allowed. We had gold in 2005/06 and blue the season before that.MultipleJesuses wrote:Out of curiosity, are clubs allowed coloured letterings and numbers now? For some reason I had it in my head they could only be black or white

Pretty sure West Brom had red not so long back.TBC wrote:They've always been allowed. EDIT: Yep... 2010...
Re: New Kit 17/18
Yeah, Stoke have red this season too. I think it's more that the majority of strips don't require coloured lettering/numbers, rather than clubs not being allowed to use them.
But I'm a fan of any alternative to a plain back or a 'window' with half stripes. Imo striped kits should have full stripes front and back.

I dont think that'll be our shirt based on the Dwight Gayle video. Collar looks black rather than white.
