Yes!
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Usually yes but I think this one has come at a good time for us.

Agreed, time to regroup and recharge the batteries for the final push and hopefully clear up one or two injuries!Heisen wrote:Usually yes but I think this one has come at a good time for us.

I'm moving house this weekend and have a funeral to go to the following Friday so i'm glad to not have any added stress! And i think the team definitely needs this recuperation period. April is going to be a busy month!

On the plus side eventually every nation on earth will be in the WC so we will have no need for midseason qualifiers.

Itd be much more fun if we didn't play any national fixtures other than tournaments. Just turn up and play .

Sure Scotland hasnt actually qualified to compete in a tournament since 1998 but I'd miss the biannual disappointment of nearly getting there if only we'd beaten the likes of footballing giants such as Georgia or the Faroe Islands or Macedonia.Toondes wrote:Itd be much more fun if we didn't play any national fixtures other than tournaments. When we do get there, it'll have been worth the wait is how I like to bull s*** myself.

Or you could do it the England way and believe the hype that we could win it only to be on the first plane home.overseasTOON wrote:Sure Scotland hasnt actually qualified to compete in a tournament since 1998 but I'd miss the biannual disappointment of nearly getting there if only we'd beaten the likes of footballing giants such as Georgia or the Faroe Islands or Macedonia.Toondes wrote:Itd be much more fun if we didn't play any national fixtures other than tournaments. To be fair, it's usually the second plane home. It's rare they don't escape the groups at least.Toondes wrote:Or you could do it the England way and believe the hype that we could win it only to be on the first plane home.overseasTOON wrote:

Seems appropriate that Fraser Aird of all players would score for Canada against the other country he's eligible to play for. Didn't realize he was playing for Falkirk now after being released by Rangers. His hype definitely has taken a serious hit these past few years.Jaiston wrote:Canada

Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 21 to 23 MARCH 2017
He was the guy who scored for Canada. His parents immigrated to Canada from Scotland and was with Rangers from a young age - and when he was still a teen there was a lot of hope that he'd represent Canada and become a bit of a star (he has caps with youth teams of both countries). As it turns out, his career hasn't really taken off as I think there was once hope for, and he's bounced from Rangers, to Vancouver (on loan), and now released and playing for Falkirk. I totally realize the "hype" was only Canadian and all relative.Toondes wrote:Who ??I'm over Colo wrote: Seems appropriate that Fraser Aird of all players would score for Canada against the other country he's eligible to play for. He scored against Ayr United. He must be mildly above average.I'm over Colo wrote:Seems appropriate that Fraser Aird of all players would score for Canada against the other country he's eligible to play for. He would have hit the corner flag if that was for us.
