I dont think we're going to agree. I say we're a more exciting proposition that Stoke. I don't think we're a yo yo club. You do. I'll leave it there. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote:That means nothing theses day i'm afraid, money talks the most.Somebody's pinched my sombrero wrote:

I would say that certainly we are a more flamboyant, bigger club than Stoke. 52k each home game, passion, great manager and massive away followings.
And up and down like yo yo's is a bit of an overstatement?
And how is "up and down like yo yo" a bit of an overstatement? It fits us to a tee. We've gone from 5th place finish to relegation in 4/5 seasons.

What's Viktor Fischer like?

Re: So..... Who comes in?
well he can't seem to get a look in at Boro, but I have no idea how that might reflect on the lad. They're not exactly a team that plays attacking football, nor can they afford to give a relatively unproven 22 year old significant game time. With that said, i think we should be looking for a bit more experience too.
Re: So..... Who comes in?
Most important: A quality CB
Also need LB, AM, LM and DM
Townsend has found some form under Sam Allardyce at Palace. We should've got him in January because he wont come in the summer now.
I like the idea of Sigurdsson but can see a lot of other teams going for him if Swansea get relegated. Rafa may be able to sway him but I don't have high hopes.

Interesting that you've prioritised CB, I've not thought about it in that way as we simply need to fill all these positions.beardface wrote:Most important: A quality CB

I suppose DM is pretty big, I like Hayden but he's prone to a few injuries and we simply can't have Colback unchallenged in that position in the PL. I'm resigned to him still being here next season, but if he's 3rd in the depth chart I'll rest easier.
Re: So..... Who comes in?
i think the three midfield spaces are more important than CB. (a quality DM would help outthe back line too)
Also I've just seen us linked with Barkley, I'd prefer Sigurdsson tbh

Re: So..... Who comes in?
Barkley?! Which rag is linking is with him?! He'll be at least £30m, not a chance!!
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
Re: So..... Who comes in?
"the 4th official" apparently he's not signing a new contract. dont see it happening either
Re: So..... Who comes in?
Barkley lol. Lukaku is probably going to try and leave over the summer. We should fantasize about him while we are at it!
Re: So..... Who comes in?
New CB, new LB, new LM, two new CMs, a CAM and probably a new striker.
I'd only really be comfortable with Yedlin, Clark, Shelvey and Ritchie starting games for us in the Prem. Everyone else probably needs replacing - hope Mike is ready to dish out some serious cash!

Re: So..... Who comes in?
We need a solid, reliable striker too. Have faith in Gayle. No so much in Perez/Mitro.

Left Winger - No idea (Mertens if i'm dreaming, wanted him for years but he's destroying it at Napoli)
Defensive mid - No idea i'm not very good at this
Left back - er, what was that Dutch lad called?
Think that Dutch lad was called Hertz van rental .
