Fair enough, that's one match. Great. We've been utterly dreadful in most of the others. We still only managed to score one goal then tried wasting time (poorly) from about 85 minutes onwards. Then we gave away a daft free kick and they ended up scoring with the last touch of the match when their defender was stood on his own unmarked in the box. So it wasn't that great in the grand scheme of things.

I'd like to see a performance where we comfortably win the match.
I know we kept Chris Wood quiet for 95 minutes but he's not a defender <scratch>

Their keeper had a great game, their defenders had great games and made plenty of blocks. We bottled it once Colback came on, not directly his fault but he just isn't anywhere the level of Hayden. Our actual performance for the majority of the game was great, we had chances and on another day it could have been 3/4-0. If we can perform at that level again we should win comfortably. I realise that's a pretty big if though.

I didn't see where we tried wasting time for most of the game. We made numerous good chances, several of which were well saved by their keeper. It was some of the most flowing attacking football that I've seen us play for ages.

Yeah the defending was embarrassing for their equaliser but other than that we played well and controlled a lot of the game.
We weren't wasting time for most of the game, but it got to about 85 minutes and we started taking the ball into the corner, which is something we've never been able to do successfully.

Fair enough, I was wrong about us not performing. The team have put in one solid performance in the space of a few months rather than none.

What channel is the Arsenal vs City game on?
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

You must be a proper one finger typer as I've already edited that mistake <laugh>.

The Leeds game clearly got lost amongst the sea of absolute dross <ok>. If we play anything like we did against Ipswich, Sheffield, Fulham, Wigan etc. then we'll be waiting a little while longer for promotion.

Ah misread that. Our good performance was the exception rather than the rule of late, i struggle to remember the last time that we played well before the Leeds match. Villa maybe?

It doesn't really concern me this season, it was always going to be a slog. Other teams with squads capable of pushing for promotion have floundered this season so I'm just happy to be where we are regardless of how good or otherwise the football has been. Rafa built a squad to get out of the Championship and that's what we'll do. He'll certainly have plans to carry out the necessary improvements in summer.

Just pass the ball to Sanchez and you're in the final. Simple.

For me Sanchez is the player of the season.

Who else is excited for tomorrow? I'm going to be busy during the game (supposed to be attending a lecture on underwater acoustics) . Do you think it would be unprofessional to stream the game on my iPad in the corner?
