Gameseek, who don't have the best reputation, have already undercut the price and have it for £390. Getting below the £400 mark and bundling in pretty much the game of the platform (for now) does make it a lot more attractive. It'll be interesting to see how much they manage to close the sales gap on the PS4, which is getting its first major exclusive next month too.

Yeah I can't see either console staying at their current prices. Im sure there will be some good deals for those willing to wait

It's exactly why I've waited , plus any bugs or console issues are usually ironed out after a few months. Probably get one next month , gonna book a holiday on payday instead <diva>

Retailers are getting really aggressive following this price cut. £370 at Gamestop. http://www.gamestop.co.uk/Xbox%20One/Ga ... all-bundle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sony will be forced to drop their price at this rate. Makes me think Microsoft are trying to really squeeze the PS4 profit margin

Comes off as a bit desperate to me, especially as PS4 is apparently outselling them 2:1.

PS4 are still going to outsell Xbox in my opinion , Xbox really lost a lot of traction when they tried to put all those stops on the Xbox One only to take them off due to outcry from more or less everyone.

Wasn't it always likely to sell more anyway. I thought the EU was always a bigger Sony market than xbox/xbox 360. I know in the UK it was less noticeable, but really the US is where xbox always dominated and our side of the pond swung the other way. And then Japan is it's own thing

So Microsoft are ditching the Kinect and offering an unbundled Xbox One at the PS4's pricepoint...

Quite a good editorial from an IGN editor about how Xbox is cleverly copying Sony's recent tricks, which in turn Sony learned from the popularity of the 360 and the cock up of ps3 launch.
Of course the fanboys say he's attacking MS cos he's a Sony guy, even though he's basically saying Microsoft are being shrewd. <laugh>

Its pure desperation and another example of how wrong Microsoft have got it for the Xbone.

Id be furious if i was one of the those who bought the original console at that inflated price for no reason.

They're great but the games that have been released so far have been poor. So much hype for Watchdogs, was a let down.. So much hype for AC: Unity, was a let down..
