My missus' housemates boyfriend has one and I had a game on FIFA earlier. It looks and plays to me exactly the same, aside from a few new fancy camera angles and pre-match faff like stadium exteriors.

He shouldn't get a refund due to the fact the item was listed as a photograph of the console? Idiot. <disgrace> <grim>

Thats apparently against T&C for ebay though, which is why he's getting his money.

I really wish he didnt though. The guy is quite clearly a grade A tool.

From what I've seen, played and heard, they're pretty f***ing s*** and the PS4 is better by some margin.

Microsoft have bought the Gears of War IP from Epic, Black Tusk will be the new developers for the series and Rod Fergusson is back in charge of production.

Well Ive been on and all I have done is set the thing up. It had a 500Mb update to do which didn't take long on my fibre broadband but all the other settings and learning how to use the thing has taken over an hour. I went to play Ryse but even it started installing and that did take a long time. So at the moment Ive only really looked around the menus - it works brilliantly and looks beautiful but I need to play something to make a proper opinion of it

I am now about half way through Ryse. It looks pretty but in all honesty its just a lot of the same thing. It hasn't got to the point that I am bored but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it. Battlefield 4 looks much better and more entertaining but I have not really played it much yet.

When I have completed Ryse I think I will be trading it in for Forza 5 I think because I bloody loved Forza 4. Don't see the point getting COD given I have BF4 although I have always been a COD addict!! We'll see how it goes I guess.

Future games wise I am mostly looking forward to Aliens:Isolation and Star Wars:Battlefront. There is huge hype about Titanfall but it just looks ridiculous to me from the demos - I need to give it a go to decide whether its any good; I expect my opinion to be wrong from previews!

The price has been cut to £399, and 'while stocks last' new consoles will come with Titanfall. A digital copy like with the Forza/FIFA bundles, so I imagine 'while stocks last' is just until the next bundle happens.
