Anyone know how I can get my chairman to build a new stadium? I'm Crawley finished 2nd in Prem last 2 seasons, and looks like it's going to be a third time, have 100% attendance every home game. My stadium can not be expanded so I can't ask for that either but my chairman always rejects it :( I'll probably get the stadium named after me aswell as I'm the biggest legend listed at club.

not a single player from my newcastle save in team of the year in three seasons, first year at stoke and my left back gets in, and he's actually a DM* <laugh> <neg>

*stoke don't actually have any left backs according to the game

Also, Newcastle have put the following up for sale: Cabaye, Marveaux, Anita, MYM, Saylor, Thrilliamson (lots of them wanted to leave because they were unhappy at the club underachieving - Pardew's been sacked and replaced with Martinez)

My 4231 formation has just completely gone to s***, struggling to win with it now. Lucky if I score more than 1 and always concede in the second half. Switched to a 41212 Diamond formation - it's really difficult to beat and I'm scoring at least a couple goals per game but it's not as exciting as my 4231 of last season <neg>

Consortium targets Newcastle takeover

Newcastle United will name Dominic Pritchett as their new manager - if the consortium's bid to take control led by businessman Les Hodge proves successful
<ohnoes> Would this actually happen? <scratch> Or is it just generic game talk?

In past games they pretty much always had a manager linked with the job if there's a takeover bid. I think it rarely actually happens unless you're doing s***.

Good, ha. Figured it was just part of the whole 'rumour' thing. There's been several proposed takeovers in the past 12 months or so but none of them have actually gone through; it's never come up saying that before though, so I was slightly worried <roll>

Luckily I'm second in the league still so unless they're complete idiots I'll be fine. But, lets face it, it's Newcastle we're talking about so it would be more realistic if that happened.

Not yet! But anything is possible <roll> <laugh>

The takeover failed. Also apparently Les Hodge is a woman.

I did a similar thing in my first season <awe> Then beat them at home, then beat them a couple seasons later in European Super Cup <awe> 100% win record, f*** you Mourinho.

Just ended a 5 game winless run with a 6-0 victory against Napoli. All is good again.

Pardew and Martinez have managed to get Newcastle relegated <neg>

On the plus side I've finished 9th with Everton and won the league cup which is decent since they were 19th when I left Palermo for them in December.
