Yep, this is a good idea.doakes wrote:Implement Skalps rules, but have it so if you're the highest scorer for division 2 in that game, you get the prize money? Helps the crap teams that Dukes so concerned about.

I think the main thing with the rules is to make sure that one team doesn't go on to dominate and ruin the Flash League

Re: Flash League: Day of Confusion
This all means nothing, PLS is so stubborn, nothing will change.
Re: Flash League: Day of Confusion
Then why not agree with beardfaces idea he just proposed right now? It's a good one. Adding prizes for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places won't help - if you have a super-team then you're probably going to get all of those slots. The Duke wrote:This.Paco wrote:I think the main thing with the rules is to make sure that one team doesn't go on to dominate and ruin the Flash League

This. The rules should have remained how they were though instead of PLS doing some dodgy stuff to please The Duke. It would all make sense if we just stuck to the rules we had yesterday before all of this happened.Paco wrote:I think the main thing with the rules is to make sure that one team doesn't go on to dominate and ruin the Flash League
Re: Flash League: Day of Confusion
Not disagreeing, just saying that's what the rules should do. Having thought about it Bready's rule would help that.skalpel wrote: Then why not agree with beardfaces idea he just proposed right now? If you have a super player you're likely to get all the prize money the other wayskalpel wrote:Then why not agree with beardfaces idea he just proposed right now? It's a good one. Really though? Every time I read through the rules I forget it the next day. I dunno about everybody else but I like the Flash League to be a fun and simple league of people playing flash games against each other, rather than some complex tangle of percentages, leaguepoints, matchpoints and gamepoints, wage bills and loans.TJR_NUFC wrote:This. But as has been proven, there is no one super player. People keep saying I'm supposed to be a super player, but somebody posted the average score stats recently and there was very little between the top 5 or so. Imagine if they were all in one team, taking the prize money for every position? The Duke wrote:If you have a super player you're likely to get all the prize money the other wayskalpel wrote:

It wasn't just to please me. I have the strongest team at the minute and I'm the only one who cares about making the league as competitive as it can be.
I dunno

I'm happy enough to go along with Skalpel and Bready's ideas though and see what happens if that's what PLS wants

Re: Flash League: Day of Confusion
It makes it fairer for all the teams though. Otherwise it just gets boring when one club starts to dominate. These rules allow all teams the chance to challenge each other and makes the flash league more competitive. However PLS when too far tonight, he must be drunk or something and I totally agree that these new rules are ridiculous.skalpel wrote:Really though? Re: Flash League: Day of Confusion
Player values is when I started to disagree with rules. Like Skalps says it should be simple without wages/taxes on loans/home advantage
