Re: Weekend Football 11-13 Feb
We've got Brighton followed by Huddersfield and Reading away in succession coming up as well. Really need to pick up wins in these next 4 or so games as I can't us getting many points from those ones.

I would wager the Mackens all thought they'd turned a corner from the last win . Ha ha
On a negative note Palace too are in free fall.

Apparently Southampton fans singing, we've got more fans than you after the 3rd
goal went in and the loyal scum fans deserted the ground like rats from a sinking ship.

Re: Weekend Football 11-13 Feb
We got lucky yesterday, Hudders that is, battered second half but hung on, and got the decision on a couple of penalty incidents.
Diving though, honest what are you on about Galwall? Do you really think we want 7 minutes injury time, and you're seeing something I'm certainly not. Having to change your shirt covered in blood, (Schindler) and with Hogg the machine limping off, hardly smacks of diving. It was a tough game, as was Leeds, and you don't win 2-1 against Leeds by diving. Lets face it they're hardly renowned for their gentlemanly conduct.
Still if that's what you think, then good luck to you. The Managers German you know not not one of those southern Latin Managers that some teams have, can't think who though.

The way your boys are doing I'd be happy to take a point at your place when we play you. Huddersfield play decent football and look a real treat going forward. Wells looks like a dangerous player.rubicon wrote:We got lucky yesterday, Hudders that is, battered second half but hung on, and got the decision on a couple of penalty incidents.

I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
Re: Weekend Football 11-13 Feb
Thanks Benny, and my comments were tongue in cheek. Rafa isn't your typical latin Manager either. Don't need to be with your players anyway. I think it's still too much to hope to catch either of you up, but we'll keep trying. As I said in an earlier post, with your away form, we'd probably be happy with a draw too.
On to Tuesday, where dare I say it, I'll be rooting for a different bird than a Magpie, though a draw would be a good result, IF we beat Rotherham.

While a point may not help our title challenge, it would mean a game played away at a rival without them closing the gap. Would be happy with that outcome.Bodacious Benny wrote:The way your boys are doing I'd be happy to take a point at your place when we play you. Good result for Burnley, that's almost another team out of the relegation battle.
Another draw in the Swansea-Leicester game (or possibly a Leicester win given their slump) is probably the best result for mackem haters.

This. Plus has there ever been a forum like it after a game where tons of different OPs spring up about the game along the lines of:
What next ?
Moyes s****
Short a fool
Who left early today?
We are doomed
No clue
Sell the players
Sack the owner
