Battle over. Deep breaths. We live to fight on.

Well done everyone for sticking with it. It's a shame 11 overpaid bellends kicking a ball about, and a fat bloke can hurt us the way they do but we all know we can't switch our feelings off and pretend we no longer care, so all we can do apart from the occasional rant is put up with it.

Now we've made it through to the other side.

Needing to do the job ourselves but f***ing it up has been the problem for nigh on 3 months.

We're not capable of winning a match, especially under pressure. I'll be watching Hull v Man Utd tomorrow.

Lots of rubbish in papers saying they'd rather be in Hull's position. Man U or WHU? No brainer.

This.

"we have to take six points off Hull City" is basically exactly the same as "we need to win against Hull City".

He's also said that the club are "going to give everything" for the Premier League and Newcastle United. How is that so different?

I understand that he isn't doing it as a personal favour to us, and that he's doing it for the fairness of the league, but it's pretty much what he said.

Yes he did. <scratch> Well, very close to it.

“I have to put my strongest team because we have to give everything for all the other Premier League clubs, and especially of course Newcastle United.

“We have taken six points off Newcastle United and we have to take six points off Hull City, I think.

“I have said to the players in spite of him (Steve Bruce) being a Manchester United guy, we have to do what everybody is expecting from us.”
