Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing that. Though I'd have Wijnaldum in for Townsend and swap sides with Perez. Our good all cane from Wijnaldum getting down the right flank and providing the best cross of the game for Mitrovic.

I'd hope Dummett would be fit enough to start at LB, and maybe swap Perez and Townsend, but otherwise agree

I think for the Norwich game I would go for the following lineup:
<elliot>
<anita> <mbemba> <lascelles> <sissoko>
<shelvey> <saivet>
<perez> <dejong> <townsend>
<mitrovic>

Ouch.

I very very nearly left at half-time during the 4-4. Only reason I stayed was my mate was up from uni from London and it was his first game of the season. Had I been sitting in my season ticket seat (which I'd sold that day and bought a ticket elsewhere to sit with my mate) I'd probably have gone home.

I once turned down the opportunity to go to a derby.

31st October 2010.

Fit looking wise or fit marathon runner fit? Also, what a waste of a ticket :|
First one. And I know, but I only got them last minute on Friday and nobody else was able to come.

My enjoyment of the match was ruined by a bloke in the pub eating vast amounts of onion rings and commenting on how good they were after every mouthful.

I've got to find a different pub. It's like drinking in a library so when we scored I felt compelled to silently mouth my joy and still got dirty looks because I breathed too loudly.

That was hilarious but sitting in the East Stand I was the only one who laughed. Think I was the only one in my row who was actually trying to contribute to the atmosphere! Last time I'll sit there. View was fantastic but you'd have thought we were playing a cup game against lower league opposition for how dead my section of the crowd seemed.
I'd only seen it on the 4 minute highlights clip I've watched on my phone. Very proud of the fact that I managed to successfully avoid the match until the dying seconds. My wife ruined it a bit as she tutted loudly when checking her phone which meant I knew something wasn't going right, but it was a nice surprise seeing the score at 1-1. Thankfully it was us that scored an equaliser too and not the other way round <diva>.

Just remembered how everyone was posting about Carver picking Raylor every week last season and how they must be mates... think yesterday proved that one <laugh>

Well I'm not sure if Cisse was at all fit, Saivet and Anita are deep lying midfielders and the other one's f***ing Riviere...
He came on for the left back. Anita was definitely an option. Saivet can play pretty much anywhere. Cisse could have played half an hour surely. Either way, they were all options considering it was the left back who came off and Gini was at CM and could easily have moved forward to where SDJ played.

Does Benitez necessarily see more in him than McClaren? Not like we had many other options to come off the bench.
