In fairness I didn't see the handball, can't remember much of an appeal from crowd or players, and once it hit the net all the arguments were about offside. It's blatant on the replay but might have been more difficult in real time.

It was clear as day, he didn't even try to hide the fact he used his arm to control the ball. Refereeing in this league is appalling, if we go back up I will never slate a referee again (which is a huge lie but you get the point).
To be fair though he also got the penalty decision wrong so swings and roundabouts
Two wrongs don't make a right.

3 points are 3 points and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

It was far from a convincing win though you always felt we had more gears to go up I to if needed.

We need to stop pissing about in our own half. I'm fine with the likes of Atsu trying to take players on in the final third but the edge of our box isn't the place. There we just need to play the easy pass and retain possession, if there is no easy pass on put your foot through it and get it as far away as possible.

That referee was absolutely horrendous. Just when you think they can't possibly get any worse they give us one who is. The theme this season has been awful refereeing in the first half, our fans and players turn on them and react angrily to every decision and then second half they succumb to the pressure and give us everything. Not ideal but tends to even the decisions out over the game. They ref yesterday was a stubborn bastard and turn under our pressure, he was truly horrendous from start to finish.

Was there...poor game and Atsu gave Cardiff more chances alone than they created through skill - 5x he gave away the ball by trying fancy s***. Should have been wrapped up but wasn't due to crap finishing and a referee unable to spot a blatant handball in the lead up to their goal... next game against Leeds we need Gayle and Ritchie back to cause chaos and nick a point.

Good day out but a bit pissed right now :)

Late back from B&Q so missed yet another goal.

I'm gonna do the honourable thing and bugger off until full time. <diva>

Nervous about this one. Have this feeling that nothing is going to go right for us.

I don't think now is the time to change the formation and tactical set up.

I'd like to see Mitro and Gayle together at some point but today isn't the day. Should be 5 in midfield and either Mitro or Gayle upfront for the time being.
Yeah I didn't mean mine for today. Just a way of doing it in future. Glad Gayle isn't starting, in the days of Pardew he'd have been straight back in after injury.

Why is everyone putting a banned player in their lineups?

He said they could play together but not well, didn't he? I took that as he'll only do it as a last resort
I'm sure that was a misquote. He said they could play together but wouldn't say when.

Genuinely forgot they existed. Although he's done nothing to be dropped <roll>

It was only a way to try and get Mitro + Gayle in the team without losing a body in the middle.
