He played it with his knee so not a backpass, ref was absolutely correct.
Didn't see that from where I was.

On another matter, the time wasting from their keeper for the entire match was a joke.

We play on Tuesday and Friday as well. We needed to make changes and the Hull game is by far the most important this week.

I've not seen any highlights yet but was it a back pass. I was at the other end of the ground but it certainly looked like it. Should have been a red for the Blackburn keeper.

Also we could have had a pen when Mitro was elbowed in the face though the handball pen shout definitely wasn't a pen.

Second half, especially late on, we had plenty of good chances. On another day we would have buried at least two or three if those. It just wasn't our day.

Agree. Also remember we play Hull in the cup on Tuesday night then we plat Forrest on Friday night so I'm sure Rafa had this in mind when selecting the team. <applause>

What? We rarely get beaten.
highest scorers in the league, only failed to score in 3 games, only lost 4. think we're doing alright tbh

Sorry.
I stopped doing them when the preview threads started. Seemed a bit pointless having two.
Toondes out!

I missed the game yesterday but the bits in bold I find very easy to believe. If I had one criticism of Rafa so far it would be the time he takes to make changes and as for Perez well this season was his time to prove himself and he isn't. He's scored goals yes but no less than you'd expect someone playing up top to get in the best team in the league, if a Spanish club (never Barca) does come in for him I'd take him to the airport.
To be in the last two games he's been the worst player at Leeds and well was very poor yesterday, will be very lucky if he starts at Hull on Tuesday night, hasn't got the bottle for playing with a big crowd when a comfortable win is expected like yesterday. Not the only player who falls into this category for me.
I don't even look for excuses with him, I just think he's not that good and that's all there is to it.

First half was crap, we never got going. Mbemba and Gamez particularly were well off the pace. Thought Shelvey and Hayden did ok in midfield, Richie and Atsu showed some good bits but not often enough. Perez may as well have not been on the pitch, complete waste of time. Mitrovic did well in the first half in particular.

Think Rafa took too long to change it. We did create a few decent chances in the second half but our finishing was awful today. Gayle may have taken a chance.

But we're still two points clear at the top and 6 clear of third, if I was offered that position cone the end of November at the start of the season I'd have taken it.

Yeah but yesterday was actually a perfect reminder that there is a long way to go, still got some difficult away games and a bad habit of struggling with teams at the bottom of the league, this needs to be addressed, because it could cost us promotion and if we do go up it is something that needs to be changed.

Unless he's knackered then Gayle needs to start every league match.
I also rate mitro, it's just perez I'm personally not keen on. Murphy has a lot of goals at this level and he needs a game or two at some point.
Murphy needs game time, those two want dropping for their performances today, Perez was worst player at Leeds as well. Gayle did more in 10 minutes than these two did all game.

I honestly think Rafa should go. He totally f***ed us today with his squad rotations. I wish we had someone like Warnock. He knows how to set up a championship team. God this acid is good!

Literally every team sets up like that against us and we usually break them down.

What? We rarely get beaten.

b ut when we do ie Fulham, Huddersfield, wolves and Blackburn is when they all set up against us the same way and the more we're at the top of the table the more teams are gonna do that against us.

We need to find a way to break them down when they try this like Liverpool did against Sunderland today
