I've had a think about this. I can see klopp moving on from Liverpool potentially in the next few years, bigger and better things. Madrid maybe. If its timed right then Rafa could walk back to Liverpool at the end of his contract here. No hard feelings from the majority of our fans I'd say, and wish him well.
I'd never wish anyone well moving to Liverpool. <disgrace>
But he already lives in Liverpool - so it wouldn't require moving <roll>

I still haven't forgiven Liverpool for paying us so much money for Carrol.

I also now think the takeover is completely dead in the water. Now that we are worth more (PL survival) Ashley wants more. I'm not even sure if he was ever legitimately wanting to sell us. Or at least, not without turning a huge profit.

I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats.

Why can't they just go for someone like Pelegrini and let me sleep well <fist>

If Ashley backed Rafa in the transfer market then I'm not actually bothered if he sells up or not.

A project manager will walk away when their hands are tied.
True, but pretty much all the clubs he's been linked to over the past 12 months wouldn't really offer improved resources.

Our progress has been so tangible that I don't see why he'd walk away now, even if it meant not getting everything he wanted from Ashley*.
