Our last 4 seasons have been:

44
45
44
45

If nothing else we’re consistent! 29 points would’ve secured safety this season, shows the low quality at the bottom.

17 points above the relegation zone. 😂

How soon <scratch>

Still doing individual training so after the international break hopefully.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's an unused substitute at the weekend.

The next couple of games (and we keep saying this are massive).

That run of Spurs, West Ham, Liverpool, arsenal, Leicester and Man C probably won’t yield many points, but thankfully we might have Wilson etc back.

I’d have zero faith in the current squad/setup of relying to get points in the last 2 games of the season to stay up.
This. Having Wilson, Miggy & ASM back we could grind/fluke out a win.. this season's been very unpredictable so on any given day we could beat/draw against the the likes of West Ham, Spurs & Arsenal if we have all our players fit & firing. Liverpool away is tricky but with there form this season anything could happen.. I don't see us picking points against Man City or Leicester tho..

The Brighton game is massive.. proper six-pointer. If we can somehow grind out 4-6 points in the next two games against Villa/Brighton we'll be in a decent position going into the Spurs, Burnley & West Ham games.. which I'm hoping one or two of Miggy/ASM/Wilson/Manquillo are back by then. After that we have a tough run in against Liverpool, Leicster, Man City & Arsenal.. if we could pick up at least 2-3 points there that would be amazing out of those four games but realistically I don't see it but Liverpool & Arsenal games are draw-able with there current inconsistent form. By then they'll be twists & shocks.. let's just pray the Shefield game can decide our fate as I don't want us to go in with all the pressure in the world away to Fulham & we crumble but if they gave us the option now of being 1/2 points ahead of them on the final day with everyone fit (Wilson,Manquillo, Miggy, ASM) I'll take that risk as we could nick a draw/win playing on the counter as the pressure will be on Fulham to get the win so the game will be open & spacious which the likes of ASM, Wilson & Miggy will thrive on. It could turn out to be that Fulham are comfortable by then & Brigton/Burnley go down so you never know.. just have to hopeful & positive that we can pick up wins against the likes of Brighton/Shefield United/Brighton.. maybe draws/wins against West Ham/Aston Villa/Arsenal & that should be enough. <awe> <diva>
Don't overrlook the difficulty of Burnleys run in

They are poor away from home and have 6A vs 4 H

One of those homes is us .... so if we can limit them to a point or less ...

The other homes are Leeds, West Ham & Liverpool

Working Inn The basis that tgey pick up around 4 or 5 points from those 4 fixtures, it's a struggle to get to 38 points

Next two games I think we'll beat Villa and lose to Brighton. I think Brighton will draw against Southampton and Fulham will lose to City and beat Leeds.

Also, the bookies now have us as 3rd favourites to go down.
Hopefully Grealish still out on Friday - he hasn't trained for a few weeks and is still classed as injured .

A win vs Villa would be a massive boost

A draw not the end of the world....... as long as we don't then lose to Brighton.

If this happened we'd be well mired in the doo doo

I think it is in our favour that Man City lost to Man Utd yesterday. Will hopefully reduce any possibility of complacency against Fulham and will give their performance some more bite. Something to prove/need to get their title push back on track sort of thing.

I think Brighton will be absolutely fine. They battered Palace and were the better team against Leicester. Results will turn. Fulham are our best hope - they have a difficult run now and although they're playing some good stuff, it's up to us to step up and pick up points starting with 3 against Villa on Friday.
So did we, but at the end of the day the result was the same.

I think Brighton are decent going forward and they do have players who can score goals but as I said I worry about them defensively and as much as I they have players who can score goals I don't think they have enough to outscore teams if they keep on making stupid decisions at the back.

It's amazing what a couple of wins will do. Beat Villa and Brighton and we're almost there and have the added bonus of the Brighton game being a six pointer too.

Think Lassassinblanc needs to revise his predictions <roll>
<gent>

I still think we'll survive tbh.

We'll fluke a win against someone we don't expect to beat, a Spurs, Arsenal or Leicester.

The Brighton game is going to be massive.

I still think Fulham will probably go down with Brighton just surviving but I'd be very worried if I was a Brighton fan, they just look like a team who don't know how to defend.

It would be interesting to know which of our remaining games Brucey considers are must win.
