The next couple of games (and we keep saying this are massive).
That run of Spurs, West Ham, Liverpool, arsenal, Leicester and Man C probably won’t yield many points, but thankfully we might have Wilson etc back.
I’d have zero faith in the current squad/setup of relying to get points in the last 2 games of the season to stay up.
This. Having Wilson, Miggy & ASM back we could grind/fluke out a win.. this season's been very unpredictable so on any given day we could beat/draw against the the likes of West Ham, Spurs & Arsenal if we have all our players fit & firing. Liverpool away is tricky but with there form this season anything could happen.. I don't see us picking points against Man City or Leicester tho..
The Brighton game is massive.. proper six-pointer. If we can somehow grind out 4-6 points in the next two games against Villa/Brighton we'll be in a decent position going into the Spurs, Burnley & West Ham games.. which I'm hoping one or two of Miggy/ASM/Wilson/Manquillo are back by then. After that we have a tough run in against Liverpool, Leicster, Man City & Arsenal.. if we could pick up at least 2-3 points there that would be amazing out of those four games but realistically I don't see it but Liverpool & Arsenal games are draw-able with there current inconsistent form. By then they'll be twists & shocks.. let's just pray the Shefield game can decide our fate as I don't want us to go in with all the pressure in the world away to Fulham & we crumble but if they gave us the option now of being 1/2 points ahead of them on the final day with everyone fit (Wilson,Manquillo, Miggy, ASM) I'll take that risk as we could nick a draw/win playing on the counter as the pressure will be on Fulham to get the win so the game will be open & spacious which the likes of ASM, Wilson & Miggy will thrive on. It could turn out to be that Fulham are comfortable by then & Brigton/Burnley go down so you never know.. just have to hopeful & positive that we can pick up wins against the likes of Brighton/Shefield United/Brighton.. maybe draws/wins against West Ham/Aston Villa/Arsenal & that should be enough.
Don't overrlook the difficulty of Burnleys run in
They are poor away from home and have 6A vs 4 H
One of those homes is us .... so if we can limit them to a point or less ...
The other homes are Leeds, West Ham & Liverpool
Working Inn The basis that tgey pick up around 4 or 5 points from those 4 fixtures, it's a struggle to get to 38 points
