Would take Mbeumo for sure. Not quite sure who the answer is for our RW but I hope it's prioritised this summer.

12 goals and 3 assists in the PL for a team who were very poor for the majority of the season is an excellent return. 27, so a good age too. They only paid £8.5m but it doesn't sound like they've any need to sell, and probably don't want to with Toney leaving so suspect he'd still cost us decent money. Wouldn't mind it.

Mbeumo is also decent (and younger). Think he can play on the right too. Definitely would cost more than Wissa tho.
Mbeumo was a name linked before alright
Brentford seem like they'll always sell if the right offer comes in, just depends on what "right" is.

Would anyone take Wissa from Brentford?

Tbh with Toney perhaps leaving I can't see them wanting to sell him too but he'd be a great addition and would fit that forward who can play all across the front line criteria.

Wouldn't break the bank either you'd think

Funny you mention him but watching MOTD I was wondering how much he'd cost and if he'd attract any bigger clubs... he's decent tbf.

Doubt he fits the profile we tend to look at, looks a very lightweight player, physicality seems to play a big role in our recruitment.

Going to Japan for pre-season don't be surprised to see potential move for a Japanese player in the future.

We've scouted Take Kubo of Real Sociedad during the season so might be one to keep an eye on
Aye if you want a temporary fan base/income boost you could do worse than signing a Japanese/South Korean player. Him to replace Almiron and Morgan Gibbs-White to replace Murphy next season after Forest get relegated. Sorted

Liverpool are interested in Newcastle United's 23-year-old England winger Anthony Gordon, who began his career at Merseyside rivals Everton. (Star)

Right you are then ……. 🤣
I laughed when I was reading it and laughed even harder when I read ‘Star’.
How to make a fan base who hate you hate you even more 😆

Getting close to a HERE WE GO
for both Kelly and Tosin
Two clever signings. Good players, especially Tosin. Improve the defence and allow us to focus the budget elsewhere, RW hopefully.

Another injury. He's been pretty unlucky this season.

Yeah he will definitely play, an annoyance this season is how little we have seen Dummett, Ritchie, Targett, all taking up space but offering little to no minutes for us even during the injury crisis. So replacing these with players who can compete for games is a step forward.
Where the f*** is Matt Targett?! <laugh>

I see Kelly as a replacement for Targett/Dummett. He's not going to be first choice CB or LB.

I'm probably more concerned with the Olise rumours tbh. I'm really not ready for another player with spaghettified hamstrings, especially at a rumoured 60m
Yeah Kelly would be cover in a couple of positions for sure, but more than good enough for games in the early European group stages if we qualify and for a decent amount of PL matches too. Tend to agree on Olise even though he looks absolutely class when fit, but also a bit like Neto at wolves and injuries may be an issue.
