Re: Midweek Football - 22nd - 24th September - EFL Cup

It would be just my luck for Newcastle to play Newport and there not be fans allowed in, considering I live about 20 mins from their ground.
Still, they could always save me that particular disappointment and dissapoint me tomorrow instead.

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

Interesting to see how badly ASM copes when faced with someone who can match/beat him for pace. Last thing we want to see is him not pulling his weight. The formation probably isn't doing him any favours either mind Sounds like we need to switch to a 4231 and get someone on Lamprey (Carroll off for...

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

I know we wouldn't be able/willing to get him anyway, but I wouldnt want him just because of how much of a bellend he is. The amount of dirty petulant s*** he gets away with is unreal, and he certainly wouldn't get away with it if he was wearing a Newcastle shirt

Re: Match day thread - West Ham United v Newcastle United

From what i gather, Hendrick mainly playing on the right for Burnley was a lot like Barton for us in that he's a central mid but can do a good job on the right. Could see a pairing of him and Hayden in the middle working well for us in a 4231 if we need a bit more ball winning ability (maybe with a ...

Bruce wrote:"Ciaran Clark and Paul Dummett still haven't fully recovered. Ciaran broke his leg and Paul has had an ongoing problem. They both had operations. Schär dislocated his shoulder & he's not right either. I think letting Flo out was the right thing to do."

Lascelles- Lejeune was the best we've seen at CB since Colo got in team of the season. This loan is disappointing to see

Re: The Callum Wilson Thread

Solid signing in a position we actually need. Could be great if we get Fraser and they reignite the form from a few seasons ago and they gel with ASM/Almiron. Another benefit of the signing is seeing the many salty Aston Villa fans coming out of the woodwork - "it's his loss for choosing NUFC" etc....

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2020)

Reports in Italy claiming we have signed Rogerio from Sassuolo, Brazilian leftback https://twitter.com/DiMarzio/status/1301923387766386689?s=19 Opting not to sign a player who has had a successful loan with us, instead deciding to spend more on an unproven player. That's served us well in the past....
