Re: Takeover back on - DEAL DONE
It's been a while since I last posted on here but had to come back and comment on the takeover. It's good to hear other fans congratulating us after all we've had to put up throughout the years but I can't understand the negative comments coming from other fans on social media and football forums. E...

Re: Newcastle in talks over Gomis transfer - confirmed
At last we've decided to enquire about Gomis. One of my favourite Ligue 1 strikers and for less than £5 M is a great steal.

Re: Kjaer anyone?
I don't think that he is defensively better than both Willo and S.Taylor but he is quite comfortable on the ball. So he'll definitely be an upgrade if we want to build a team which can pass from the back

Re: One good thing Kinnear might do for us
I'm kind of feeling a little mixed towards Kinnear now. I'm still completely baffled and disappointed that he's come in, but on the other hand I didn't realise that his only son died 2 years ago with cancer which makes me feel really sorry for him. His life must have been really grim over the last ...

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours (NUFC)
I'm a big fan of performance related pay. Give players a good weekly wage, but have decent win bonuses, clean sheet bonuses, assist bonuses, goal bonuses, bonuses for final league position, player of the month awards etc. You shouldn't just be given a decently weekly wage, it should be earnt. If pl...

Re: UCL place to Europa League winner
Good idea but does that mean that the CL dropouts (from the group stage ) will be scrapped? And will the team be qualified directly to the group stages or will only get a place in the preliminaries? It would be good if it can also be passed on to the losing finalist (or even a semifinalist) if the E...

Re: Which non-NUFC players have disappointed most this seaso
Giroud has scored 17 goals this season <wenger> not bad for his first season in England I'm only disappointed because after following him for some time in France, I was expecting him to finish in the Top 10 scorers in the League. Same goes for Hazard (after all the fuss and drama during the summer)...

Re: Goodbye Wigan (Premature Threadulation)
I want them to win today or else the final day will be boring with only Arsenal & Spurs competing for a CL place.

Re: Team for Arsenal
Ben Arfa is more dangerous in the middle than on the wings (won us a dubious pen yesterday) and I didn't want to drop dreamboat for Obertan or Jonas. And having best mates on the same side has worked in the past <ski> Cabaye wouldnt be any good as a winger though, just drop Tiote or something. Play...

Re: Your Summer Shopping List
Yes I agree but I don't think that Lescott will take a pay cut to join us. Ability wise both Huth and Distin aren't the best in PL but they are both good leaders and calming presence we should be looking for. Distin is a good leader and calming presence. Huth is a complete donkey. He's no better th...

Re: Your Summer Shopping List
<laugh> <disgrace> To be more constructive: Huth is absolute s****. He'd just get sent off all the time, plus he is genuinely an unpleasant person and player. I'd much rather have Lescott, if he'd come. Yes I agree but I don't think that Lescott will take a pay cut to join us. Ability wise both Hut...
