Re: Holidays

My friend lives out there and I chat with him every few weeks. Everything is open in regards to restaurants and bars etc but there is a curfew from half 9 in the evening and a huge fine if found to be breaking it. Everywhere around the country; you'll find QR codes for checking in and out of all bu...

Re: Holidays

Let us know if you get to Singapore OT, we were meant to be flying tomorrow moved it to next June, I'm interested in what the process is once you get there and how open everything is in reality.

Re: Holidays

Yeah that's what we ended up going with, kept it down to immediate family and friends on the original date - it's not likely that big parties are going to be a thing for a long time yet. We'll do something for extended family at some point, but not worth the stress right now. We got married 21st Ma...

Re: Holidays

Stressful, I know someone who's planning a wedding for May next year but planning it 'as normal' e.g. inviting loads of people, big venue etc. Whilst it could all be okay by then and they're allowed 150+ people in the same place, there's a very high chance that with the number of cases expected ove...

Re: Holidays

Thinking of risking a trip out to Singapore at the start of November given the outlay is only £350 return and if covid is an issue - I can change dates for free or take a credit to use for a different booking. Just keeping an eye on the quarantine rules for Singapore at present as its a strict no e...

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

Part of his job is meant to be tracking back to help Lewis . Didn’t help him once , and that was before he faked his injury. He spends more time on the deck. Decent in flashes but it’s not good enough. Also I wanted to add - Lacelles is an absolute plodder. He must have been defending a bit, he man...

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

0-3 Brighton look a class above us in every department. People that said we've had a good transfer window need to have a look at themselves. We still have a s*** team and a s*** manager and nothing is going to change until we get a new owner that has money spend and a good manager. We've had a good...

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

Wilson will be gutted about that chance. Shows the difference Miggy makes for us though. Vastly better with him on the pitch. Still only matching them this half though, at best. This. We need to start with Miggy, Fraser and ASM all on the pitch at the same time. Bench Carroll & Shelvey. Sell Shelvey

Didn’t in any way suggested it was borderline Leicester <laugh>

Their wages are broadly comparable with city’s wage bill, their transfer spend is quite a bit less, several hundred million less. So it is quite a difference.
Not you (some of) the media and Klopp <ok>

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

You get to a point of diminishing returns though, spending 400mill compared to 500mill, for example isn't much of a difference althoug it looks that way on paper. I just think to suggest they haven't spent vast, vast amounts of money and it's some sort of borderline Leicester story like Klopp and so...

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

I'm trying to find an accurate and reliable and easy to find version of wage bills but looks like Liverpool are 3rd highest, average spend per year per player is 5.5 mil on wages.

Transfers and net spends aren't the way to judge sides based on financial output, it's too simplistic.
