Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea
Purple patches aside hes always been average at best. Far too predictable and oh s*** they've scoredDon Sholeone wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 9:16 pmMiggy is probably at his worst he's ever been for us. He's been atrocious this season.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea
Thought weve been ok but lacking in final third, far too sloppy vs a side set up to hit us on the break which has caused problems.
Tighten up the passing and a bit more decisiveness and we will be ok.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
It's fine to debate, but when it's full of so much conjecture and assumption I don't think we're really taking it anywhere. Maybe we've just made a rare error in our transfer dealings? Also, snood. Maybe I was being vague or should have phrased it better. Another example of someone writing down my ...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Wolves
Hall has had zero impact this season but any loan fee would have come nowhere near close to covering any other signings had we not gone for him. He dosent even take a squad place does he? Such a strange thing to be debating, if he wasnt here nothing would have changed, we wouldnt have signed anyone ...

Re: Days lost through injury
Winnable competition, valuable coefficient points up for grabs, less strenuous than the CL and a good cup run can do wonders for confidence.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gunners
I wouldnt be surprised if his wife spends most of her days stopping him walking round in circles hes so one footed. I dont think I've ever seen a player with such a shocking weak foot and or lack of confidence in it. Hes been a great servant, hard worker and during his purple patches was a joy to wa...

Re: Howe under pressure?
Harsh to say he's a one season wonder when he kept us up in his first season here. Can anyone say if we hadn't had the injuries we've had we wouldn't be above West Ham chasing top 4? The problems which no one can answer is who do you get in if you get rid of Howe? How do you afford to rebuild the sq...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Hatters
On train back. Frustrating game. Burn very poor, should have been binned at half time, their number 7 had him on a plate from 5 minutes in. Missed Big Joe's steel in midfield, Bruno, Longstaff and Miley were unwilling to put a foot in, left the back 4 completely exposed. Good character to come from ...

BrewYork, Pavement Vaults, clucking oinks, Spark, the whippet inn, rose and crown and minster inn. All good but very very different food places. Pubwise rose and crown again, black swan, market cat , anywhere by the river is fun on a weeknight, eagle and child, fat badger. You'll be spoiled for cho...
