Re: Vučkić's Video Shop

Apologies if it’s already been discussed but has anyone seen The Handmaids Tale? If not, I can’t recommend it enough, it’s easily up there as the best TV show I’ve binged this year. Season 1 is on Sky boxsets and I got season 2 from that guy at work that every workplace has - watch it!! For anyone ...

Re: Pavel's eBar

I get what you mean about those things - I have things in my head but generally think they are stupid obvious questions so dont ask. Then some other person asks what Im thinking and they get all the credit for it <laugh> Sometimes you just have to speak up and get over the inner anxieties <ok> Are ...

Re: The F1 Thread

Quite a good race, started well. Max was on form. Middle bit was a little boring. Good to see Hammy getting past Seb - I do think Sebs move to block Lewis was a bit dodgy but it didn't matter. Not sure the team orders were required but I can see why they did it. Good race from Leclerc. There are som...

Re: The F1 Thread

I asked them about it, they have given up on this season. Next years chasis was on the shop floor and that is what they are focussed on. They said the Renault engine has been brought in too quickly and they didn't have enough test data to get a good model to understand performance Pretty sure they'...

Re: The F1 Thread

So Ive been in touch with McLaren - Im going in their simulator and then into Mission Control to watch the second practice session from Russia - they are going to show me how they capture data and make decisions live. I literally cannot f***ing believe it! So excited <party> Based on their performa...

Re: Pavel's eBar

Minor victory for me today which will probably sound a bit dumb, but I was pleased with it. Usually if I know I've got to say something at a meeting etc. I'll get pretty nervous about it, heart starts pounding etc. Today I was at a relatively decent size conference for work, they got to the questio...

Re: The F1 Thread

Im going to the McLaren factory in Woking with work later this month. I nearly jizzed my pants when I found out I went to a chocolate factory with a company I used to work with and at the end they allowed us to grab loads of freebies. Grab me a car as well if you can. Not bothered about the colour....

Re: Pavel's eBar

Some good options ta! I have arranged Sunday Lunch now - we are going the First Dates restaurant <laugh> . I may try one of these on Saturday night <ok> For Saturday night I'd recommend the Coal Shed if you have to be in the same area. Else, head down to Brixton (northern line from London bridge) a...

You would be very welcome! <cheers> I could do with some advice OT, Im in London at the start of next month and need to find somewhere for Sunday lunch near Tower Bridge - nothing too fancy. Any suggestions? For that area I'd recommend Le Pont de la Tour Grill or the Coal Shed which are close to To...

When you make the mistake of letting your mother in law stay for a week after moving house after making the same mistake 4 years ago and her never leaving, then 3 weeks later wondering how the hell your going to get rid of her.... I've downloaded the drink aware app. I had 24 units yesterday on a pretty normal night out. 14 units per week my arse
21 units per week (the old guidance) is more realistic.
