Re: Match day - NUFC v Spurs

Thought we looked decent. Except Yedlin, absolute liability at the back. Can't mark, Dele Ali must of felt lonely all on his own most of the game.

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19

Fulham announced five players, all after the deadline - Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Anguissa in a £22.3m deal, Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan for £6m and Sergio Rico, Luciano Vietto and Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan. That made them the first promoted team ever to spend over £100m in the summer...

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed)

Competition for Perez at best. Don't think we should be dismissing our top goalscorer from last season this early, Perez is improving under Rafa & I expect him to be better this season.

You think he's their biggest issue right now? <scratch>
He's been done by Perez & Kenedy at the back & missed a very good chance & halfchance going forward.

Kennedy needs to pressure him more.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)

Sanchez has been crap this season. Clearly wasn't interested at all in playing for arsenal. He's not that good anyway. Gives the ball away far too often to be a top tier player. Not sure the opposition keeper digging the ball out the back of the net counts as giving the ball away <laugh> he's a gre...

Tis sad, I guess people more worried about the club dying on it's arse now though. Quite happily take a striker like him now. 56 goals in 104.

RIP Vic

Vic Keeble died, last surviving member of Newcastle"s last FA cup winning side. Which is sad on so many many levels.

Re: POLL: Who's To Blame For Our Current Slump?

But it's the managers job to organise his side and get them playing to their full potential. He's also the one that keeps picking these under performing players. He changed formation to 4-4-2 and played Slo Mo as part of that midfield 2. He's looked like a rookie manager as opposed to an experience...

Re: Amanda Staveleys PCP Partners formally offer £300m to buy Newcastle

Apparently we'll get £30m to spend that PCP will pay back once the takeover is complete.
It's a start but is it enough to keep us out of trouble? what do we buy? Kylian Mbappe's left foot or one and half Harry Maguires?

Re: POLL: Who's To Blame For Our Current Slump?

Not sure how much Rafa is to blame, he spent the money that was available to him in the Summer which wasn't a lot and if you pay peanuts you get monkeys. The likes of Manquillo & Joselu were the best we could afford when we needed numbers in & out to compete. The current slump (rather than the 20 ye...
