Re: Pavel's eBar

Thanks for the advice <ok> Might have had a last minute reprieve after an intense few weeks when literally everything snowballed. My Mrs says she still wants to try (I did anyway) so starting counselling sessions this weekend, obviously if that doesn’t work we can both go knowing we tried everythin...

I follow some accounts on Twitter from Championship Manager 01/02 and it reminds me how good it was. Definitely might have to buy that version, early 2000s by far and away the best.
I'll get the new one and replace SB, happy with that!

I've got Carpets at home, the missus chose them though so I'm no use to you.

Re: Match Thread - Spurs v NUFC

Shelvey's still got a better range of passing than anyone else in the team & there will be games where there will be room for him (you know, against the new teams like Norwich). The one that concerns me is Joelinton. Watched MOTD2 & Shearer raving about Joelinton's first touch for the goal. I though...

Re: Match thread - Norwich V NUFC

I think it'll be the same starting line up as Sunday. ASM has a tight hamstring apparently but Shelvey is fit according to SB's press conference this morning. Also said he made a mistake playing Willems in CM so there will likely be a CM on the bench. I hope for 2 or 3-1 us, only concern is like 2 s...

Re: Players you randomly miss

Demba Ba
Papiss Cisse (for about half a season each)

And some older ones

big one for me

Speedo <cry>
Rob Lee
Mickey Quinn (listen to him on TalkSport & think what we'd do for a goalscorer like him now)
Albert (just for THAT goal)
Nobby

Re: Match day thread - NUFC V Arsenal

I'd personally like to see Almiron play in a deeper role. Would give him more space to allow his breaking runs to be far more devastating. This. Something like this would be interesting to watch even though it looks attacking, I think we could do well against the ''lesser teams'' so to speak at hom...

£40M not pocket change & nigh on double our transfer record. For that sort of money I'm expecting a decent return.

Re: Predictions - Where will Newcastle finish this season?

I'm guessing mid table. Big season for some players. Joelinton - needs to hit the ground running & justify the huge price tag. Lascelles - Captain slumped a bit last season & needs to up his game again (5 live podcast Dubravka said some players expected to play week in week out under Rafa & standard...
