Re: Weekend football - 9/11 March 2024

Pedro Neto off injured again for wolves with another hamstring injury. He’s class and we’ve been linked, but quickly turning into a bit of a crock so probably best avoided given what he’d cost.

Re: The Cooking/Baking Thread

Prep for Mother's Day kicked off. Making a traditional Portuguese dish of pork and clams so need to mascerate the red peppers with salt for 12 hours before roasting, peeling and blitzing as the marinade for the pork for 24 hours. Sounds like a lot of work but essentially about 20 mins of actual coo...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Yeah I think most have a lot of time for lascelles. He stuck around when things were at their lowest, always led by example, hasn’t complained when he doesn’t play much and generally does a good enough job when called upon. Chances are he won’t get much game time next season (tho a fair chunk in the...

New contract for Lascelles
Says Lascelles triggered it, so must have been something along the lines of if he played more than X minutes then he got an extension?

Of course that doesn't mean he won't be sold in summer if we get a new CB in.

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

How do you join the queue for resale? I usually wait a couple of days as there are queues as soon as the resale opens. Just log into the website and choose the option to buy tickets at the of the top of the page then click on home games and select the game you're interested in. I would point out th...

This won't help of course.

Yet in the resale if I've been kicked out of the clubs' website because they think I'm a robot! <grr>

Also, Leif Davis looks quality at left back. 14 assists last season in league one and similar already this season. Yeah at 24 still got his peak years ahead of him and he's from Newcastle, local lad n' all could be our next Dan Burn different playing style of course. Was at Wallsend Boys Club when ...

Re: Weekend football - 2/4 March 2024

Didn’t realise how close the bottom of the championship is, Stoke are in the bottom 3 but one win would put them 16th. Literally any team in the bottom half could be in the relegation zone if they lost a couple or games and results went against them.

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

Well, I'm in my first ballot anyway! First few times it didn't work and said "Some owners were assigned more tickets than they are allowed" even though I'd only requested one category 2 ticket.
