Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Watford
Burnley winning just caps off a s***ty weekend of results. With the run of games coming up it would be a brave man to bet against us being in the bottom three by the time we play Cardiff. What a massive game that is shaping up to be. I know I've mentioned it but the failure to beat Fulham could be h...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Watford
Decent point but the failure to beat Fulham means this was two points lost, definitely. Still majorly pissed off at that.

Re: Weekend Football 21-23 December
They could have quite feasibly beaten Cardiff 5-1 under Mourinho.
But of course Solskjaer is now the second coming of Ferguson.

I'd say yes as we were the home team and Fulham are truly atrocious.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:24 pmThose who had the misfortune to watch it, was it worse than Southampton away? Wasn’t that zero shots on target too?

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Fulham
Disgraceful performance. Anything less than 3 points today was absolutely unacceptable, but to manage 0 shots on target against this lot is deplorable. Rafa wants shot for that, one of the most disgustingly negative performances I've ever had the misfortune to witness. You just don't set up on the c...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Fulham
Mitro booed? Why? I know, he was hounded out by a **** decision by Rafa. He wanted to play for us and we f***ed it up. 100% not his fault. If anything I'd cheer him quietly if he scored today. That's absolute nonsense. I disagree with the booing but why on earth would you cheer an opposition player...

Re: Mourinho Sacked
No chance I'd want him here, if people despise Rafa's style of football it would be increased tenfold under Mourinho. Plus, he is the most egotistical prick going - he believes a budget of £200m isn't enough, imagine him working with a budget of £0? He needs a break away from the game. I think inter...

Re: Match day thread - Huddersfield v NUFC
Good results today with Fulham, Cardiff, Burnley and obviously Huddersfield all losing. If we beat an awful Fulham side next weekend things will be looking good. If we win, that would have us on 19 points at the halfway mark (as we'll lose at Anfield), so almost certainly halfway there points-wise ...

Re: Blizzard article on Ben Arfa
Ben Arfa is the definitive case of 'what could have been'. I loved him when he signed for us, but everyone seems to forget all of those games where he'd just stand around doing nothing, or try to beat 4 defenders on his own rather than passing it, or coming back to pre-season a stone overweight. I ...

Re: Match day thread - Huddersfield v NUFC
Good win. Need to back it up next weekend though.
Kenedy needs to be dropped now. On the evidence of this season both Murphy and Atsu deserve to be ahead of him in the pecking order - and neither of them have been particularly good. He's just not much of anything really, is he?

Re: Match day - NUFC v Wolves ( 4pm live on Sky )
I'm more gutted that we lost to an absolutely s*** team, they were awful and somehow snuck 3 points. Made absolutely no sense to drop Schar either, and if Dummett was fit enough to be on the bench he should be starting . Rafa baffles me at times. Massive two games coming up, anything less than 6 po...

Re: Match day - NUFC v Wolves ( 4pm live on Sky )
It was The Mike Dean show today, as it often is. Yedlin may have been a red, but their lad almost certainly should have seen red and it's a different game after that. No idea why on earth we were bombing forward trying to get a winner either, it was always going to cost us. I'm more gutted that we l...

Re: Protest Plans
I think the Magpie Group have turned a lot of people off due to their rhetoric. Going in with a tone that suggests 'if you don't support us or the protests you obviously don't care and like Ashley' is ludicrous. There's no professionalism, they're acting like they're the spokesman for over 50,000 pe...

Genuine question - when was the last time a team had a player sent off against us? I legitimately can't remember.
