What's everyone's views on it?
Expensive carbonated piss or luxurious bubbly lovelyness?
It's my 40th today. And because I had to cancel all my plans because of my surgery I thought f*** It and bought a bought a bottle of Bollinger.
I do quite like champagne but Bollinger really does take it to another level. At the price though, I probably won't drink it again until my 50th.

Happy 40th! I’ll be joining you next year.
Not bothered in the slightest by champagne tbh. Obviously mainly had it at weddings where it’ll be cheap s***, so would be interesting to compare it to something “good”.

I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

I just don't like the taste and I usually like bitter things. Honestly I prefer Asti or just water

40 isnt too bad. It's just like being 20 but with 20 years more experience.
I feel rough today though.
Thankfully I just stuck to the grape.
I don't even remember going to bed. But at least I went to bed.

Re: Champagne
Instead of Champagne, I usually pick up a Cremant from France as many of the vineyards from outside of Champagne region still make a great fizz.
One I get every Xmas is a Rose Cremant from Saumer and it's brilliant. Think it retails about £12/15 a bottle from Majestic.

Bollinger for the win. It's definitely a special occasion treat with that price tag.
