Knowing our luck though all that will happen is we will end up with Nadine Dorries as chancellor and revert to a Hunter gatherer economy based on how many deer you can skin in 12 hours.

My local cinema is letting gingers in for free today and tomorrow to protect them from the sun
I'd bet good money that some sad tosser will complain about it tho, such is the age that we live in.

Still going strong. Been working my ass off and went to Italy for a few weeks.
After Italy I had to go back to the specialist as the surgery hasn't worked and this damn hole in my leg has returned so I'm waiting to see another specialist as an emergency referral... Could be waiting up to 2 months.

Italy was awesome. Many days of temps over 35 degrees and any breeze was like sitting in front of a hair dryer! Walked over 200 km in 10 days and saw some wonderful places, scoffed amazing food and just chilled out for the first time in about 3 years.Tsi wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 10:32 amfor going strong for the holeoverseasTOON wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 9:59 am

Seriously think if there was a competition for sweatiest man in Europe, I'd have been a winner.
That hole in my leg came back half way through the holiday so paid 100 euros to see a doctor out there and he arranged treatment for me with other doctors throughout the remainder of the trip.
.
I've changed my mind on where I want to retire. It had been South of France but somewhere on lake Como is screaming out to me now and Mrs OT is up for it.

Re: Pavel's eBar
Saw the specialist. Given surgery hasn't worked I was rushed through and had another check up
She's put me on a strong course of antibiotics and scheduled for another biopsy next week given the procedure failed
Seemed confident it's not the C word but wants to get to the bottom of why it came back.
Seemed insistent that I take antibiotics on an empty stomach but never mentioned booze so chilling out with a wine and reading about how racist French people are.

I always saw the French as more xenophobic than racist

Re: Pavel's eBar
i was just wondering if anyone else plays a musical instrument on here.
I used to play Bass in a band many moons ago (even gigged around Newcastle for awhile) and took it back up in lock down i'm now trying to get to grips with keyboard ( which is going pretty good if i do say so myself )
So what do you play and to what level?

I used to play the trumpet up until the age of around 12. Never did any exams but could read music, play in the school concert etc.
Haven’t picked up an instrument in 25 years, one of those things should’ve carried on.

Haha yeah, there are one (or more) of those in every team. Everyone knows they're s*** but it's kind of accepted and nothing done about it
..and for anyone who can't think who that person is in their own team then it's probably you
