<ok> Not heard of that but for £5.95 you can't go far wrong.
It's just another one of the multitude of weekly/monthly box things that seem to be all the rage at the moment.

My Mrs got me one from Brewhawk I think it was called for my birthday. There were about 8/10 beers in it, a couple were definitely decent beers but they defo padded it out with cheap/average beers (as you'd expect).

I've got a decent off license with a big range of craft beers and European beers so tend to go there every few weeks.

If anyone local hasn't been nip into CentrAle in Newcastle train station next to Sainsburys next time you're there. Some cracking local beers, the Pavel is a Geordie was lovely as is some of the Beamish stuff.

If you like dark beers treat yourself to a bottle of House of the Rising Sun from Brinkburn St Brewery. It's amazing.

I got a decent selection from Beerhawk, but you're right, there were a few Anchor and Sierra Nevada ones that you can pick up anywhere these days fairly cheaply. For what you pay I was hoping for more of the unusual ones.

Yeah, Sierra Nevada is decent but you can pick it up in Tesco for about £1.80 usually whereas beerhawk charge about £2.50. Sierra Nevada Torpedo is decent if you ever get the chance to try that, sometimes makes an appearance in M&S and Waitrose if you're feeling flush.

Better when they include things not widely available in supermarkets.

Anyone been to the Euston Tap House?

Slap bang outside Euston station, some really decent beers at very good prices. Got a pint of Wild Beer Co. Millionaire stout for about £4.50.

Great little place to have a few beers. The cider themed one opposite is also really good.

Yeah usually go there when waiting for trains, nice meeting spot. Bit small though!

Yeah, good in summer though with tables outside.

Never ventured into the one opposite but will do next time I'm there.

Made a good change, usually in London it's about £6 for a pint of something bang average so to get decent beers for that price was a surprise.

I'm a big fan of the continually changing graffiti in the toilets.
