Should it be abnormal levels of cold/snow then fair enough, but when it's only about -1 or -2 and a bit of snow it takes the piss.

My stepdad couldn't go to school for 2 months in the 60s as the snow was as high as hedgerows. That's news worthy

I'm just miffed that this "Beast from the East" hasn't managed to screw up my trains yet. I was really hoping to make some progress with a game on the PS4.

Supposed to be meeting my sister in Bristol tomorrow for drinks as it's halfway between where we both live (so long as the trains are running...).

Now my Mum is coming along too, which is fine. But now my sister has invited one of her friends too ffs!
