Oh right! Hope he liked it! I haven't dabbled in anything over £90 a bottle, tough to justify spending that much on myself!

Just picked up a bottle of JD Single Barrel in Sainsbury's for £30. Great value for money.

Just got a book "101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die" as a stocking filler - nice little checklist to work my way through <awe>

Got a nice selection of Irish whiskey today Glendalough 13 yo, Tullamore D.E.W. 14yo and a Jameson from the outlaw.
Drinking the Tullamore and got to say very impressed.

Had the 2016 George T Stagg earlier, OMG it is incredible. 67% abv and absolutely packing flavour but smooth at the same time. A real throat warmer too! Had the 2012 version previously (not owned, only tried) and this was probably better. Although it's hard to remember <laugh>
