Been out drinking in Manchester all afternoon. Had a tactical McDonald's on the way home and a couple of pints of water...
Much prefer afternoon and early evening drinking to going out at night. All the d******** go out later and most bars have music playing so loud you can't even have a conversation. As I'm well into my 30s now I really cba with that s***.

That's how we do it too. Out at about 2 or 3 and home by about 9. Bars are quiet and there aren't many arseholes aboutBodacious Benny wrote:Been out drinking in Manchester all afternoon. Had a tactical McDonald's on the way home and a couple of pints of water...

Fixed my electric toothbrush and used it this morning when I noticed a whole lot of wobbling going on so I'm going to be hangover free for a couple of months while I knock off the beer.

I need to do that. I got quite fit at the start of the year but have steadily declined over the summer. Need to get myself sorted out

They do diet wine!
Half the calories of real wine and three times the heartburn factor.
God this stuff is awful.

Just found out that I've got to go to Bologna for work next month when I'll be off the booze
I'd usually have a couple of pints in the airport on the way and drinks out at dinner each night.

Drink tonic water. It works better than having a nice meal with a glass of coke.Bodacious Benny wrote:Just found out that I've got to go to Bologna for work next month when I'll be off the booze
