Beer > whisky festival > beer > cocktails last night.
I'm in full recovery mode today. Just had fish fingers, beans, two rounds of toast and two cups of tea.

23 days without a beer now so that's also 23 days without a cigarette as well.
So bored of herbal teas, cordials and fruit juices.

I would usually expect a post-St Patrick's Day tale of merriment from you involving, at the very least, 10 litres of various types of alcohol.

This. The very fabric of reality feels like it is out of alignment. I no longer know what is normal. It is all so confusing.biggeordiedave wrote:What have you done with the real OT?overseasTOON wrote:23 days without a beer now so that's also 23 days without a cigarette as well.

Well done on 23 days without booze and fags though . Are you allowing yourself alcohol-free or almost alcohol-free beers? I would suggest Brewdog's Nanny State. Tastes like a perfectly good beer, but only 0.5%. You'd have to drink about 60 pints of it to get pissed.

I've had the occasional Becks Blue which is 0.05% and isn't awful but mainly been drinking various herbal teas.biggeordiedave wrote:overseasTOON wrote:

Re: Hangovers
For me the best way to avoid a hangover is to drink s*** loads of water during the day before i go out. I'll drink 7 or 8 pints of water throughout the day before i go out (spread it across the day else you'll just be bloated!) and when i get home have a pint or two of water before bed.
