Good job I've got a helmet to protect me from the pelting of puns here...
At the risk of being serious I as chatting to a friend from Egypt who lives over here, she fell out massively with her family (dad is an imam) over this. She didn't want to to take away her sons choice over it and make him different from his mates. My lasses parents would be very angry too (if they still speak to us after a civil wedding and me not converting )
