I doubt it would have any bearing, they play in different positions for a start. Souare is already third choice LB at Palace I think (Van Aanholt, Schlupp) anyway, so I would have thought they'd be happy to get rid. I personally don't want him tho. With us signing Kenedy, I doubt we will be looking to strengthen there. Remains to be seen where he will play though, but I think lb or lwb most likely.
