Referee of the Valencia vs Juve had a complete mare. Maybe the worst ref performance I've seen in years. Got the red card decision completely wrong, and 2 out of 3 PKs. When he gave yellows felt pretty random and inconsistent too.

Not sure what the red was actually for... but Ronaldo gave him a decision to make. He knew it too, looked guilty straight away then got as far away as he could while the commotion went on.

Seemed like the official was pretty set in his decision from the very beginning of the incident (also read he might have thought there was a kick from Ronaldo - there wasn’t) so I doubt anything he could have done would have changed the outcome. Blaming Ronaldo for moronic decision-making from the officials is harsh.

I see Man C had 10,000 empty seats last night. Can you imagine if we ever got back into the CL, every game would be a sell-out.

Problem was that his bad decisions went against both teams. Even as a Valencia fan I was annoyed by the Ronaldo decision. He just lost control and without knowing what he was actually thinking, it felt as though he was always reactionary and making up for a previous call.

Then away at CSKA, meant to be behind doors, City fans didn't have time to cancel travel plans but home fans made their way in...no fine.
So yeah some City fans don't watch the competition
