Does anyone know if that African striker for Watford is going to African cup? He was denied at first by Ranieri and the club, then I didn't read anything more about it.
Dennis, he's still at Watford. Apparently they had an agreement with Nigeria that if they didn't call him up before a certain date then Watford could hold him back, which they have.
That is standard procedure, so seems like they have a clean slate and a non-motivated striker.
I fear the worst and King will give us a long night if we don't get quality defender with a bit of pace <negmas>

Andy Carroll was disallowed two goals, that second is such a beauty.

Wouldn't that be wonderful! If you're going to spent a truckload, there's probably no better place to impact our play more than in midfield. A new CM could really change how the whole team performs.

I hope it's Pirlo or Seedorf.

Sky reporting that Burnley v Leicester game is off.

Gonna have 3 games in hand after this weekend ... and longer to find a replacement for Wood as well. Really need to get a win vs Watford!

Arsenal taking the piss trying to get the NLD postponed.

Injuries and stupid suspensions are part of the game, it’s not Covid related so play the game.

I think the argument now is that injuries and suspensions cannot be covered if there are players out with Covid, if it was only injuries and suspensions then I guess tough luck, but teams can argue now that its unfair if they are left short on the cover due to the pandemic.

Talk is Burnley v Watford on Tuesday will also be off meaning they will have 5 games to rearrange.

For all people have and will talk about the benefit of them rescheduling games later and potentially having a Wood replacement for them, they're going to run into some serious fixture congestion that'll inevitably harm their performance. They're definitely reaching a point in which it'll do them more harm than good.

Just as long as The Premier League don't decide to extend the season!

If it was a planned, early decision it wouldn’t matter. Like if they came out and said games postponed so far will be played at the end of the season over X number of days then it puts everyone in the same boat.
