Will be glad to see the back of him, has pretty much shown himself up to be a bit of a prick. He knew the conditions of his contract when he signed, just like he knew coming here was a long term project. Feel like he's someone getting carried away with his own hype.

Overall I'll say he's good at his job and is always in demand. We kind of done the same to get him from Brighton albeit in a more open and transparent way, and agreed compensation, so there was little issue.
From the outside it looks like he took us by surprise with accepting the man u role.
9/10 times in football with things like staff and transfers etc there's a gentleman agreement between clubs before any offers are mad this doesn't appear to be the case here and we're rightly saying you have a contract you're not going until it's over unless we get compensation.

I'll Hazard a guess

It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

What's changed this past week? I kinda figured we were in the quiet gardening leave phase. And meh, dude took what I assume is a higher paying job at a bigger club - having spent more than a year in his current role. Doesn't strike me as worth getting wound up about - it's just a job after all, as disruptive as the outcome is.

It'll be the fact he's trying to take the club to arbitration so he can f*** off to another jobRemember Colo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 2:17 pmWhat's changed this past week? Also the fact Man Utd and Rat boy have been banging on about how great he is and how he's "the best in the world" yet at the same time bitching that they have to compensate us so they can take him on. The entitlement is unreal. The fact Ashworth is doubling down on the unprofessionalism I think is a disgrace for someone who's in his position. He's a DoF who's acting like a bratty player.
Re: Dan Ashworth confirmed as gardening director
Can we send him to Wigan like Charles N'Zogbia?
