Adds to what was already a very good window so far!
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Have never heard of the bloke myself but French people I know say he's very very good. Like better than Cabaye good.

Bought him once on FM.Captain Obvious wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 10:38 amHave never heard of the bloke myself but French people I know say he's very very good. Like better than Cabaye good.
Just looking at his stats the past two seasons he has been class. Arsenal and Liverpool have been following him for two seasons, probably some of the other ones as well. Even though the team has been average this season, he's been Lyon's best player so far.
Looks to be settling in the national team as well now, could be having Brazil's CM pair in the future

Eddie Howe says Newcastle are hopeful of "getting closer to completing a transfer for a player."
No names mentioned of course with Howe adding: "We'll try and give you that update as soon as we have it. But fingers crossed that we're close to getting one over the line."

This. Him, Joelinton and Shelvey will be a good midfield trio. Gives us balance in defence and attack. Added to that you got Willock, Almirion, Longstaff and Hayden as back-ups.Oval85 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 11:47 amBought him once on FM.Captain Obvious wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 10:38 amHave never heard of the bloke myself but French people I know say he's very very good. Dubra
Trippier Burn Schar Bakker
Guimaraes
Shelvey Joelinton
Nunez Wilson ASM
Bench : Darlow, Dummet, Manquillo, Ritchie, Miggy, Willock, Murphy, Fraser, Wood.
Squad players / back-ups (can rotate on the bench, etc) : Fernandez, Clark, Lascelles, Kraft, Lewis, Hendrick, Longstaff, Hayden, Gayle.
This is of course if we ever get to have a fully fit squad. But you can see what deadwood we need to get rid off in the summer. Either they too old/contract ending/not good enough (Championship standard) or we simply need to upgrade.
Not too shabby eh.. Looks like a potential top-half team (on form) instead of a relegation threatened one.

Feels like forever aye! Can't wait to see the difference it makes at both ends of the pitch.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 7:09 pmThat scatter plot gets me giddy! I feel like you and I (as well as Sanchino and BB) have been beating the drum for a CM like this for years now.
Reckon we've got enough to stay up as it is if we get him in now, that said, if we don't get a CB on in I won't be happy at all as it's not worth taking the chance

This seems to have gone a bit quiet since yesterday. Is the medical finished ?
