With the question (having the best form of your Newcastle career) and what he said after about not being negative about the past, sounds very much like he was stopping himself digging out Bruce's sterling coaching expertise.Remember Colo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 4:00 pm"Careful what I say here..."Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 3:44 pmI'm glad that Fraser got his goal, he does work very hard and closes down well but not really had much end product. Though he has been a bit unlucky not to have won a penalty or two since he came into the team.
Sounds like he has some opinions he's keeping to himself for now.

Norwich 1-0 up against Palace after 40 seconds… Palace look pretty rubbish so far. They could get sucked in…

Coutinho looking quality for Villa - 1 goal, 1 assist. He’s going to be tough to keep quiet on Sunday.

Should have gone for Coutinho. Didn't think he had all that left in him. Such a creative force. Brazilian too

Also he only joined because of his personal relationship with Gerrard. We had no chance.

Re: Match Thread: Newcastle v Everton
all in all results looking good tonight aside from Southampton winning ( So far) at Spurs - to my mind they are going to be fine
Brentford are within our reach now- they are spiralling down
I'm happy with Norwich drawing with Palace- both still in it.
Would have preferred Villa to beat Leeds.
It's 3 from ( in order of most in jeopardy as it stands)...
1. Burnley
2. Watford
3. Norwich
4. Newcastle
5. Everton
6. Brentford
7. Leeds
8. Palace
9. Villa
I'd bet on 1-3 being for the drop -
..... but a hell of a long way to go yet

Norwich's next two games are City and Liverpool
Re: Match Thread: Newcastle v Everton
This imagine..
Bruno
Joelinton Coutinho
Brazilian's starting midfield trio. Would have been class to get him but as mentioned he has a personal relationship with Gerrard so as soon as Villa stepped up there interest we had no chance. Villa look like a completely different side under Stevie G.. Progressive, high pressure, high energy, flexible, powerful, strong running and technically gifted players.. will be a tough game I can see us conceding for sure but also can see us scoring.. could either go 1-2 to them or us or a 2-2 draw. A real 50/50 - 40/60 type of game. Coutinho is there star player but they also got Ramsey who's making powerful runs from midfield and can finish, Watkins who's a good finisher, Buendia who can be hot and cold but very skilful and direct. John McGinn who's a excellent box-to-box and D.Luiz who's a accomplished Brazilian DM.
Will be a good game for the neutral..
