Carver's Carvery
Re: Carver's Carvery
Did any of our fans sing "Ashley out" during the Villa / our last home game that season?

Most of the protests against Ashley took place outside the stadium before the games. The only time i remember seeing something in the stadium against Ashley was the Cockney Mafia banner.tomtom94 wrote:Did any of our fans sing "Ashley out" during the Villa / our last home game that season?
The protesting was around september anyways, wasn't it?

Don't argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.
Re: Carver's Carvery
The major protesting was after Keegan's departure but it continued I think. A lot of people on the BBC were mocking us for chanting it even when we were winning. Perhaps the arrival of Shearer placated the protests though.Ameobi's Apprentice wrote:Most of the protests against Ashley took place outside the stadium before the games. Is Hoilett looking good in a poor Blackburn team? He's done well this season but i was thinking before about how good N'Zogbia was last season for Wigan.

N'Zogbia isn't bad. McLeish brings the worst out of players

He's done a few decent turns/runs but hasnt really opened up the wigan defence. The yak has been anonymous.Ameobi's Apprentice wrote:Is Hoilett looking good in a poor Blackburn team? He's done well this season but i was thinking before about how good N'Zogbia was last season for Wigan.

Re: Carver's Carvery
I take it this game is about as exciting as it sounds? More talk about the fans than the actual match.

Wigan have been orite, both Moses and Di Santo should have scored. Blackburn have been s****, no fight in them at all. You'veBeenTiote'd wrote:I take it this game is about as exciting as it sounds? More talk about the fans than the actual match.
