Been running on empty for the last 10 minutes, Inevitable.

I'd say the last 20 minutes have been fumes and s***.

Bit worrying that Isak looks the most tired player on the pitch.

Had our chances - Miggy miss and Bruno hitting the posts proving costly

Is it just ne or have we missed a trick here

1-1 would've been enough for Europa ( a cup we had a chance of winning )

So why is Schar steaming fwd into their box

Surely we sit back and play on the break

We just don’t carry any luck, Bruno onto the bar at a crucial time.
We hit the brick wall at an hour and Milan lifted.
They play with an economy and resilience and grew while we slipped.
Some roller coaster of a night.
Kinda glad we’re not doing this Thursday Sunday gash.
Time to regroup
Clydeside & Tyneside

Well at least the team can get some mid-week rest eventually...

I don't feel like Burn was the best choice LB for an end-to-end half hour where both sides needed to play for the win, but I guess Hall isn't trusted or ready? Hopefully that wasn't an injury for Trippier.

Players dont see it as we do. We want to continue the Euro journey. They want Champions League. And we both leave with nothing.

We're gonna have more players injured than fit at this rate.

Gave it a good go and still done well considering the rotten luck we've had with injuries. Disappointing to lose at home but it is what it is - we'll be back soon enough.
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Howes poor squad management has got us in this mess. Half a season to go with a physically and mentally exhausted team. You can't play every weekend and almost every mid week with the same 11 constantly without any rotation, inevitably the injuries start to come, some may call it bad luck, but at the end of the day the physical intensity put on a small group of players means something will have to give. Ritchie and Dummett couldn't even get a stiff during this crisis, not to mention the £35m Lewis Hall. Serious questions need to be asked on this front, why are players getting ran into the ground when there are actually other options. Yes Howe has done wonders but I cant just turn a blind eye to some glaringly obvious flaws in his squad management.

Gutted to go out especially after PSG barely got the job done. I know I shouldn’t be happy about it but the squad’s been stretched too thin so it was always CL Ro16 or nothing for me tonight. Squad isn’t physically or mentally ready for Europe balancing act this year.

Horrid but fun group nonetheless will hopefully serve as great experience for the club going forward and where they aim to be.

Hopefully squad can regroup, injured players return and we further strengthen in January.

‘Mess’ feels unfair. Some injuries and suspensions couldn’t be helped. Really tough group. Nearly pulled it off… but I take your point on Hall.

Positives:

Burn, Longstaff, Wilson all back for a busy fixture period.

Miley didn’t look out of place, again.

Dubravka looked a bit steadier.

Disappointing to go out of Europe altogether, maybe a bit naive to leave ourselves so open. It is strange with whatever’s going on with Hall. Probably ****, but some rumours that Hall has to play X amount of games for the obligation to buy to be activated and maybe Howe isn’t convinced. Probably s*** but who knows.

Have to beat Fulham at the weekend and with players returning we can, they’ve done well of late but are very much a home team.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

We have no chance against Fulham imo. I'm expecting a very very rough end to the year.
