Too bad the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are still in it.Don Sholeone wrote:This tells me we are seriously going for the cup

Who are they? I'm sure we'll walk all over them.

If Gamez is poor (and I hope he won't be), I wonder how people will reconcile that with their belief 'anyone is better than Dummett'.
Pleased Yedlin starts and also Mbemba, don't want either to become disillusioned or off the pace as I think they have real promise for the future

Anything is possible in the league cup, its not like it will be a priority for them teams. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote:Too bad the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are still in it.Don Sholeone wrote:This tells me we are seriously going for the cup

I'd like to claim I was prophetic here, but this is more rotation than I expected and in different places. I was sure Perez wouldn't start and Lascelles would.Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: I've went for some changes, because I feel Rafa will rotate in some players rested post the international break. I do think Shelvey will play with Colback out, as Rafa won't take games for granted.

Klopp's taking it seriously, Jose needs a trophy and Arsenal's second string could still beat us, especially if we play them at the Emirates.Don Sholeone wrote:Anything is possible in the league cup, its not like it will be a priority for them teams. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote:

Yeah innit. I can't really see us beating any of them. We'd need to be at home and for them to have an off day to have a chance. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote:Klopp's taking it seriously, Jose needs a trophy and Arsenal's second string could still beat us, especially if we play them at the Emirates.Don Sholeone wrote:

Semi final is two legs, and final is at Wembley. So regardless, if we get past Hull we will play at home at least one more time. And away one more time. Can beat anyone over two legs.originallad wrote:Yeah innit. I can't really see us beating any of them.
