he uses oxygen, lowering the amount of oxygen a little bit, making the opposition players every so slightly more lethargic....Toondes wrote:Joselu really is ****. What does he offer ?
other than that, he cleans the boots for the players after the games.

It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Safety is all but mathematically secured, it would take a run of perfect results for everyone else and a total collapse for us to be dragged into relegation zone.

We are definitely safe imo, great win.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Hi.
We're closer now.
I wish I'd seen a little more offensive attitude in the second half....but apparently Rafa is pushing the players back.
Some players only woke up when Leicester scored the goal. That's something to fix.
Greetings from Argentina.

The team, with this performance and effort at the last few games must have raised the stocks for potential buyers... This can only be positive for incoming bids for the club
Btw, has anyone seen our goal difference? -41 in 32 games is amazing considering how poor our midfield was the first half of the season.

Can I ask how you became a Newcastle supporter?
Edit: That... just felt weird... asking about that... almost like asking how he met his wife

Another good game from Diame and Shelvey. Im very impressed how much they have grown this season. I wonder if they can continue this, if so our midfield may not need the reconstruction I feared.
Still desperately need a striker though.

It's looks kinda surreal to be 10th after 31 games. When was the last time? At pardew's glory days?

I wonder what all the Rafa doubters have to say now?
I can honestly say that his achievement in getting us to this point this season establishes his reputation for ever. We are a relegation battle team with a truly world class manager.
More important than who we can sign over the summer by far is keeping Rafa.

Re: Match thread - Leceister v NUFC
If we are taken over this summer and we get the right investment then I think we can potentially put ourselves in contention for Europa League talking breaking top 8 rather than fighting for 5th/6th, and getting in via the top clubs taking the cups.
Finally we look like a solid defensive unit that can only get better imo, I'd upgrade at LB and RB (although I'd keep both Dummett and Yedlin around) an extra CM thats an upgrade on what we have, and then sorting out the front 4. Bring in Kenedy on permanent, a good no.10, RW and Striker, also make Dubravka a permanent which I think is probably going to happen anyways.
